Record of tolls received, 1868-1911.

Charge account payment records for uncollected tolls from high-traffic carriers who owned their own canal boats were kept with assessed toll and payment records from the Lockport collectors. All volumes include firm name; payment amount and date. Some volumes also list boats owned and operated by the firms; navigation dates for which tolls were assessed; clearance numbers; payment method (i.e., check or currency); and payment depository.
